About TRUSTmanager

TRUSTmanager checks the reputation of all connecting SMTP hosts against a constantly updated database of reputations provided by Clearswift. Hosts are evaluated for previous spam-related activities and are awarded one of four TRUSTmanager reputations:

The default spam policy is configured to allow messages from senders with Good reputations to bypass further anti-spam checks.

The default spam policy is configured to allow messages from senders with Neutral reputations after performing anti-spam checks.

The default spam policy is configured to greylist messages from senders with Suspicious reputations before performing further anti-spam checks.

The default spam policy is configured to greylist messages from senders with Bad reputations before performing further anti-spam checks.

For information about specifying the actions taken by the Appliance based on TRUSTmanager reputations, see Configuring TRUSTmanager Settings.
